 Casablanca Conference 

January 14-24, 1943.

Meeting between United States President Franklin D. Roosevelt and British Prime Minister Winston Churchill in Casablanca, Morocco.

Also Soviet Union Leader Joseph Stalin but he did not show up for the meeting.

The Allies would have unconditional surrender of the Axis Powers.

Conference took place in a hotel named Villa Number 2.

An unconditional surrender meant that Adolf Hitler of Germany would never get to make a peace treaty with them until the Allies had defeated Germany.

French Leaders Henri Giraud and Charles de Gaulle also attended the meeting.
